    Roop Automotives Ltd is a global supplier of precision-machined products to the automotive industry. Established in 1992, it now employs over 2500 people and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of hot forged steering and stamped yokes.

    Roop Automotives serves leading global vehicle manufacturers and top tier automotive industry suppliers with precision machined components. It has built a strong reputation among them for supplying high quality, very reliable, cost-effective products.

    Its emerging challenge was how to achieve its safety and sustainability goals, including alignment with four United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). All while improving operational excellence and continuing to meet the high expectations of its customers.

    The Solution

    Certification to three globally recognized standards set the structure for proven improvements in quality, environmental and health and safety management

    Roop Automotives implemented a set of management systems, based on international standards in three core disciplines. It recognized the value of having these independently certified by BSI as clear commitment to progress to its employees, customers, and stakeholders. 

    We certified its quality management system to IATF 16949, the industry benchmark for the global automotive supply chain. This provided the foundation for environmental and health and safety management systems, certified against ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
