    New Non-Executive Directors at BSI

    BSI, the business improvement and standards company, today announced the appointment of Tim Livett and Robert MacLeod as Non-Executive Directors on the BSI Board. Tim will join the Board on 1 January 2024 and Robert on 1 March 2024.

    Tim Livett was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Caledonia Investments plc.  Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer of the Wellcome Trust and previously held senior financial positions at Virgin Atlantic and British Airways. Tim is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, has extensive Non-Executive Director experience, including as Audit Committee Chair and serves as Non-Executive Director of Worldwide Healthcare Trust plc as well as of Oxford University Endowment Management.

    Tim Livett comments: “As a purpose-led organisation, BSI plays an immensely important role in inspiring trust in business and broader society, and I am pleased to join its Board”.

    Robert MacLeod is the former CEO of FTSE 250 international chemicals company, Johnson Matthey. Previously, he was the organisation’s Group Finance Director and played a key role in the group’s strategy and business development. Prior to that, he worked for WS Atkins, later serving as Group Finance Director. Robert is a Chartered Accountant, serves as Non-Executive Director of Vesuvius plc and is a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of RELX PLC.
