    Oxford Net Zero researchers, supported through BSI funding, analysed resources on net zero governance and found

    • Strengthened convergence amongst net zero governance resources compared to earlier study from 2022.

    • Convergence noted in key areas such as setting science-based targets for 2050.

    • Key gaps remain where ambiguity around requirements needs to be reduced and consensus strengthened.

    • Areas where increased rigour needed include defining emission sources for Scope 3 targets.
