Are you already a CQI and IRCA Certificated Lead Auditor (or acceptable alternative) in a management system other than occupational health and safety management?
Do you already have good knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) requirements, and the key principles of an OHSMS? If so, this course is for you.
Using a step-by-step approach, you’ll be guided through auditing an organization’s processes in relation to ISO 45001 and, over three days, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills required to undertake and lead a successful OHSMS audit. You’ll acquire the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct, report and follow-up an OHSMS audit that establishes conformity and enhances overall organizational OHS performance.
This course will help you:
On successful completion, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to perform first, second and third party audits of occupational health and safety management systems against ISO 45001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.
Knowledge:
Explain the purpose of an occupational health and safety management system, and of occupational health and safety management systems standards and the business benefits of the improved performance of the occupational health and safety management system
Skills:
Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of an occupational health and safety management system to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 45001, and in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable
Anyone with the need to audit an organization’s processes in relation to ISO 45001:2018, and has met the prerequisites for attending (see below).
